Expectations of SalonSpa Interns:
- Provide support to our style and color team as requested
- Display extended knowledge of Aveda products
- Prepare laundry and product shelves
- Perform Aveda rituals such as hand and scalp massages and makeup touch-ups on each guest
- Display a positive attitude to guests and team members
Requirements include:
- Participation in our 9-12 month Training Program including live model workshops and specialty classes
- Passion and drive to create an exceptional guest experience
- Attend our education class held weekly (location TBD)
- Dress code of black business attire, styled hair, and clean nails

Expectations of Guest Service Team Members:
- Provide support to our salon and spa departments
- Take direction from the leadership member on duty to execute daily operation functions
- Maintain a sense of controlled urgency when dealing with guests
- Interact with guests and team members in a respectful and professional manner
- Detail-oriented while multi-tasking in a fast-paced SalonSpa atmosphere
- Warmly respond to and efficiently accommodate guest’s needs
- Report to work on time and ready for work at each scheduled shift
- Display a positive attitude and high energy to both team and guests
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and expectation
Requirements include:
- Passion and drive to create an exceptional guest experience
- Dress code of black, fashionable business attire, styled hair, and clean nails
- Retail schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Knowledge of Microsoft-based programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience working with retail POS computer software preferred
- 1 year previous experience in a retail environment required
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job

- Coach team members on issues relating to performance and company policy
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including training of new team members
- Display a positive attitude and high energy to both team and guests
Requirements include:
- Minimum high school diploma required, college degree or related field preferred
- 2-3 years previous retail experience preferred
- 2-3 years supervisory experience required
- Previous experience working with salon software preferred
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Must be retail focused
- Responsible for individual results related to sales, service and service impact survey
- Follows processes set by the company to increase productivity
- Communicates timely and effectively with peers, guests and retail leadership team
- Organizes time to maximize productivity
- Display a positive attitude and high energy to both team and to guests
- Consistently execute rituals and ensure that rituals are being offered to every guest, every time they enter the location
Requirements include:
- Cosmetology or Esthiology license beneficial
- 1 year prior retail experience or guest service experience
- Ability to travel to multiple Asha locations
- High school diploma required, college degree or related field preferred
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job
